During his absence, the city has not changed: all the streets are frozen, long-gone voices can be heard in the empty rooms and around the corner you can find yourself in a video game from your childhood.

The French Democracy (2005)
The French Democracy is a short film by French filmmaker Alex Chan. The film was made in the 2005 PC game "The Movies," a business simulation game that allowed users to create their own films using pre-rendered scenes and tells the story of three Moroccan immigrants in France who turn to rioting after facing different forms of discrimination. The film was made as a response to the 2005 French riots which resulted from the deaths of two young boys who were electrocuted while hiding from police in a power substation. The civil unrest called attention to racism in France and abusive policing tactics. On its release, The French Democracy sparked controversy in mainstream media both as a political statement and as an example of the then-emerging Machinima genre tackling mature, political themes.

With Bella gone and no answers in sight, the gift raises questions — and dread. The story builds tension as Mortimer struggles with loss and the strange presence of Dina Caliente, his mistress. The film’s shocking climax reveals that the package contains Bella’s severed head, sent as a deadly message from Dina, exposing a dark and twisted betrayal within the family.

But as time passes, eerie signs begin to emerge — strange carvings in the rocks, whispers in the jungle, and footsteps that don't belong to him. As his grip on reality begins to slip, the Sim must face the possibility that the island isn’t uninhabited — and that something is watching him.

After a supply run gone wrong, a scavenger named Joanna Creek finds herself trapped beneath the city in a collapsed metro tunnel. Her radio is dead, her flashlight battery fading, and all exits are sealed. Days pass. Hunger gnaws. Water runs out. Rats scurry, but offer no salvation.

The Old Silo Farm (2009)
When siblings Mae and Patrick Alridge return to their late grandfather’s farm to settle his estate, they stumble upon an old, rusted silo — sealed shut and whispered about in family lore.
