I've Been Trying to Tell You (2021)
Do you look back on the optimism of the 1997-2001 era as a lost golden age, or do you see it as a period of naïvety, delusion and folly? There’s a lot of nostalgia for the nineties at the moment, especially from people too young to remember it who see the decade as a simpler, pre-internet time. Modern nostalgia often draws on corporate American-90s mall culture, but what about British culture? With I’ve Been Trying To Tell You – made to accompany the Saint Etienne album of the same name – director Alasdair McLellan evokes the era through the fog of memory. The resulting film, shot in locations from Grangemouth to Portmeirion to Southampton, is both beautiful and enveloping.

Peaches, now elderly, revisits Brighter Days Inc. to relive idealized versions of her memories before they are destroyed forever. Inspired by the film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and a sequel to the "We Can't Be Friends" music video.

Harry and Tonto (1974)

ATAVISM (2024)
Within the video, two screens coexist. On the primary screen, a repetitive action takes place - the photo in the hands is periodically blurred. The focus of the viewer's attention is shifted to the secondary screen, which is more dynamic. The face in front of the camera, resembling clay, tries to take on images from archival photographs and video recordings.

Sweet Memories (2024)
Exploration of memories related to food and food making. Three women are preparing dishes personally meaningful to them, while the director's grandmothers recount the tales of what food and cooking meant for them throughout their lives.
