
The Black Decameron (1972)
Five unrelated tales: (1) "The Ravishing Queen" / "La Reina Bella", in which the queen choses a king by devious endurance tests of the pretendants; (2) "The Punished Lovers", in which a fake blind husband is 'cured' after having the culprits banished from the tribe; (3) "The Old Prostitute" who manages to take revenge from all the village dignitaries who wrongfully condemned her brother; (4) "The Endless Search" that does not end until a hunter finds his perfect end-game; (5) "The Crazy Woman" whose illness was not exactly of the mind, but of an (almost) insatiable lust.

The Greedy Ones (1974)
According to legend, a group of women escaped from Atlantis just before the destruction of the continent. They took refuge on a mysterious island, and founded a kingdom. Men who dared approach the island, were devoured by these sexually voracious Atlanteans, and thus they were called "gobblers".

Mysterious Intruder (1946)
A private detective is hired to find a young heiress but finds himself accused of murder.

Cause for Alarm! (1951)
A bedridden and gravely ill man believes his wife and doctor are conspiring to kill him, and outlines his suspicions in a letter.

The Accused (1949)
A prim psychology professor fights to hide a murder she committed in self-defense.

Sugar Cookies (1973)
A film producer murders his star actress during an erotic "game" and makes it look like suicide. The dead girl's lesbian lover discovers what happened, and plots her revenge.

Kemek (1970)
A wealthy, eccentric chemical company owner sends his woman to get an American writer to take a mind control drug, Kemek, to verify its potential. She accomplishes her mission, but falls totally in love with the writer. The chemical magnate, satisfied with the results of the test, rewards her with murder, just as she is about to flee to Naples with her new lover. Her ex-husband and a private detective track the killer behind it all to a remote hideaway to unravel the solution.

Hollywood Boulevard (1976)
A Midwestern ingenue arrives in Hollywood to try her luck as an actress. An incompetent agent hooks her up with a production company which specializes in low budget B-movie fair, which starts being plagued by strange, deadly accidents.

Making Love (2000)
Costanza is drinking a beer in a Prague pub, a summer night in 1968, while a violinist enters and starts playing a "canone inverso" for her. It is not a case, that music and that violin have a story behind that could concern her. It is the love story between Jeno Varga and the music, between Jeno and Sophie.

Heartless (1997)
A shy young woman receives a heart transplant and undergoes a personality change that may be connected to the murdered donor.

Miss Marple: The Murder at the Vicarage (1986)
Faced with two false confessions and numerous suspects after a despised civil magistrate is found shot in the local vicarage, Detective Inspector Slack reluctantly accepts help from Miss Marple.

Zeinab (1952)
An adaptation of Mohamed Hussein Heikal novel. At the beginning of the 20th century, Zainab, a peasant girl, falls in love with Ibrahim al-Khouli, who works on the Pasha's estate. Her father stands in the way of this love and insists that she marry Hassan, a wealthy young man. Ibrahim is called up for military service and leaves the village, leaving Zainab saddened and suffering from tuberculosis, which Hassan's family refuses to treat. Ibrahim returns from military service, is pained by her condition, and tries to help her.

The Seven-Per-Cent Solution (1976)
Concerned about his friend's cocaine use, Dr. Watson tricks Sherlock Holmes into travelling to Vienna, where Holmes enters the care of Sigmund Freud. Freud attempts to solve the mysteries of Holmes' subconscious, while Holmes devotes himself to solving a mystery involving the kidnapping of Lola Deveraux.

Green for Danger (1946)
In the midst of Nazi air raids, a postman dies on the operating table at a rural hospital. But was the death accidental?

Nothing But the Night (1973)
When various trustees of the Van Traylen Orphanage begin dying in close order, it's at first written off as a coincidence. But, when a school bus accident very nearly takes out three more of them along with a group of orphans, Col. Bingham and his pathologist friend, Mark, begin looking into the deaths. They come to think the answer lies with one of the girls on the bus, who has vivid memories of things she could not possibly have seen.

Sole Survivor (1984)
