Orango (2014)

"Orango" - prologue to an unfinished opera by Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1975), conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, performed by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Mariinsky Theatre Academy. In the 1920s, Soviet biologist Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov carried out a series of experiments to create a human/nonhuman ape hybrid. Three female chimpanzees were inseminated with human sperm. No pregnancy occurred.. In 1929 he organized a set of experiments involving nonhuman ape sperm and human volunteers, but was delayed by the death of his last orangutan.

Keloğlan and Tekin are two brothers. One night, they come to a coffee shop with the desire to become apprentices. Since the coffee shop has not had any customers for a long time, they are not hired. The two, who spend the night there, wake up when three dervishes arrive. With the dervishes' prayers, the coffee shop fills up with customers. The two brothers are regarded as miraculous. Tekin's fame spreads throughout the world, and princesses from India, China, and Kaf want to marry him, sending envoys to the coffeehouse. Tekin rejects all these offers and eventually falls in love with Zeynep, a shepherdess.

Alanis Morissette: MTV Unplugged (1999)

MTV Unplugged is the first live album by Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, released by Maverick Records in the United States on November 9, 1999 (see 1999 in music). It comprises songs performed by Morissette on the television program MTV Unplugged. Twelve tracks were included on the album, but Morissette performed several others, including "Baba", "Thank U" (both from 1998's Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie) and "Your House" (the hidden track on 1995's Jagged Little Pill), during her Unplugged concert. These were later released as B-sides on the "King of Pain" single release. The first single, "That I Would Be Good", was moderately successful, and two other tracks, "King of Pain" (a cover of the song by The Police) and "You Learn" were released as singles outside North America. As of March 2012, the album has sold 673,000 copies in the U.S.
