
Chaperone (2025)
Set in rural Hawai’i and featuring an entirely AANHPI cast, Chaperone follows Misha, an unambitious 29-year-old woman who finds a dangerous acceptance in a bright 18-year-old athlete who mistakes her for a fellow high school student.

Jinx Sister (2008)
Jinx Sister is a story about Laura (Wiseman) who is convinced she is a jinx. People who get close to her have a habit of dying. She thought fleeing to the other side of the world would help. Instead, she developed a serious drink problem. Waking one night in an alley, with no recollection of who she had sex with, Laura decides its time to face up to her past.

They Were Actors (1981)
The plot of the film is based on real events of the Great Patriotic War. When the Nazis occupied Crimea, the actors of the drama theater of the city of Simferopol entered the underground group Sokol. The activities of the underground members were diverse: they put up leaflets with information from Soviet Information Bureau, compiled maps showing the strategic objects of the enemy, and supplied the partisans with medicines. On April 10, 1944, 3 days before the liberation of Simferopol, the underground members died from enemy bullets — they were shot on the outskirts of the city.

Balloon (2018)
