When met by a stranger, sometimes the unexpected make for an unlikely friend. Animated entirely in Quill, VR animator Nick Mansur captures suspense and heart within a minimalist world.

Tulku (2013)
Papoo, an old fisherman from a remote island, catches a 'Tulkou' in his fishing net and takes it home, hoping they will become friends. The old man, thrilled by the changes due to this presence, doesn't see that this very different creature, perishes...

Ferda the Ant (1944)
Ferda Mravenec (Ferda The Ant, 1944 ) runs over ten minutes, telling the tale of an ant colony versus a spider. This one is teeming with characters, with impressive animation, fun gags, and a good story.

Memory of What You Once Were (NaN)
An animation about the uncertainties in human connections over time, portrayed in an affectionate relationship between a granddaughter and her grandfather with dementia as they grow old together.

Goldimouse and the Three Cats (1960)
Sylvester, his wife, and son go for a walk while their porridge cools, when Goldimouse wanders by to eat the porridge and sleep in their beds. Sylvester then tries to catch her for his "spoiled brat" of a son to eat.

Martian (2015)
A little boy pulls out one Martian toy from a vending machine and it turns into a real alien who takes him to his planet, where he is surronded by the toys from the vending machine, but much bigger.

Memories of an old man about a beautiful girl. In a gray interior, an old man, listening to the sounds of Mozart's Requiem, recalls memories of the past.

Charles and François (1987)
A touching story of the friendship between a grandfather and his grandson, this is a film about aging and death. Award-winning animator Co Hoedeman combines 3-D and cut-out animation techniques to create a very dramatic and moving film. The story follows Charles and François through the different stages of their lives. With time, they become closer, common experiences having diminished the difference in age. By the end of the film, time appears to stand still; both are over one hundred years old and they are almost indistinguishable.
