Metamorphoses I (1978)
For the multimedia exhibition Tangenten I (Tangents I), Dammbeck and co-organizer, sculptor and painter Frieder Heinze had planned to collaborate on a film that would combine non-camera animation with 35mm footage of a train ride between the two Dresden districts of Radebeul and Pieschen. When the exhibition was banned in 1978, Heinze turned to other projects, but Dammbeck continued working on the film by himself. Metamorphoses I—the first experimental film ever to be shown publicly in East Germany—marks the filmic beginning of Dammbeck’s long-term art project the Herakles-Konzept (Hercules Concept).

Bill Reid (1979)
Follows Haida artist Bill Reid, from British Columbia. A jeweller and wood carver, he works on a traditional Haida totem pole. We watch the gradual transformation of a bare cedar trunk into a richly carved pole to stand on the shores of the town of Skidegate, in the Queen Charlotte Islands of B.C.

Spelunker Is a Teacher (2011)

The girl Hanusya and her younger brother Andriyko lived in the village, whose mother was taken captive by the Horde, and whose father, who went to free her, also disappeared. The Cossack Stepan is courting Hanusya, but she promised to marry only after the return of her parents. All three find themselves in danger, because they are pursued by the devil, who was driven out of hell by Satan himself, having ordered to harm at least one human soul.
Oberammergau (1984)
A B'nai B'rith delegation visits the town of Oberammergau to meet with its mayor and the monk who is responsible for the passion play which is presented every ten years. The group discusses their efforts to eliminate the antisemitic tone of the play.

The Adventure of the Naive Duck Tasiko (1984)
Naive, pretty and pretensious Tasiko will get angry at her friend and runs in forest, where she finds herself face-to-face with a wolf. Her loyal friends will save her from the trouble.

Night on the Town (1981)
In a run-down hotel for transients, a man sleeps fitfully in bed. He rises to use the toilet down the hall, and while he's there, a burglar enters his room. He returns to find the burglar leaving through the window; the burglar falls to the street beneath. The man leaves the hotel and walks past the fallen burglar to a seedy bar, where he drinks too much and has a hedonistic vision of sex and death. He awakens on the bar-room floor and drags himself out. Is this the end for him?

The Wolf and the Dog (2014)
In this short, base on the fable by Jean De La Fontaine, we join a Samurai and a Ronin as they settle their dispute like gentlemen in a dramatic duel of swords.
