My Village in Nunavik (1999)
Shot during three seasons, Kenuajuak's documentary tenderly portrays village life and the elements that forge the character of his people: their history, the great open spaces and their unflagging humour. Though Kenuajuak appreciates the amenities of southern civilization that have made their way north, he remains attached to the traditional way of life and the land: its vast tundra, the sea teeming with Arctic char, the sky full of Canada geese. My Village in Nunavik is an unsentimental film by a young Inuk who is open to the outside world but clearly loves his village. With subtitles.

KIM (2022)
The story of an exceptional painter talent, the Belgian-Hungarian Kim Corbisier who left a brilliantly powerful oeuvre behind after her tragically short and intense life. And a camera at her filmmaker friend. The mesmerising and often shocking footage of the camera bear witness to Kim's struggles with methadone addiction and, above all, her identity crisis caused by a series of unfortunate and criminal accidents in her family. After the unfinished attempts, with this film, the filmmaker is realising a project they had planned together 10 years ago.

Classic Fighter (NaN)
Classic Fighter – the story of the great piston-engined fighters of World War Two. A tribute to the men who flew them, and to the men and women who guided them and kept them in the air. Made in conjunction with the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, this programme tells the story of these great war planes. Stunning air-to-air flying sequences are intercut with interviews with pilots and aircrew of the British and American air forces. Some of the fighter aircraft featured are the Supermarine Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane, the Messerschmitt Bf109, the P-47 Thunderbolt and the P-51 Mustang.

Spitfire: The Birth of a Legend (2006)

The story, along with dramatic archive and colour film of aerial combat, graphically illustrates the appeal and fascination the Spitfire has maintained since it faced and fought the fighter and bomber formations of the Luftwaffe.

Memórias do Subúrbio: O que é o Acervo da Laje (2024)
The story of the first house/museum/school in the surburbs of Salvador: Acervo da Laje. Through interviews and photographic records of the Plataforma neighborhood, the short film proposes a reflection on the right to the city, especially the right to art in Salvador's favelas. As well as problematizing the lack of incentives for peripheral culture, it also explores the relationship between care and learning. With moving stories, Zé Eduardo and Vilma Santos will tell us a little about the construction of the collection they designed together. Acervo da Laje goes beyond being just a physical space; it is a daily practice that encourages art and knowledge for people with a voice who have never had the opportunity to be heard.
